Internal Dev (2)

What is the purpose of this branch?

Internal Development focuses on fostering a strong, supportive community within RISHI. We aim to create a welcoming environment where both returning and new members can thrive. This year, we're committed to enhancing member engagement by introducing new initiatives that align volunteering opportunities with our mission of social impact in India. We'll be expanding our efforts to not only build connections through social events but also provide meaningful experiences that deepen members' understanding and commitment to the causes we champion. Our goal is to cultivate a space where like-minded South Asian students at USC can come together, share their passions, and collectively contribute to creating lasting change.

We consist of three subsections:

  • Social: The Social branch is dedicated to organizing events that foster camaraderie and build lasting friendships among members. We create opportunities for members to connect, relax, and enjoy shared experiences outside of service activities.

  • Volunteering: The Volunteering branch focuses on aligning our service efforts with the core mission of RISHI. We coordinate impactful volunteering opportunities that allow members to directly contribute to the causes we support, both on campus and in the broader community.

  • New Member Integration: The New Member Experiences branch ensures that incoming members feel welcomed and integrated into the RISHI community. We design programs and activities that help new members quickly find their place, develop their passion for service, and build connections with fellow RISHI members.
