What is the purpose of this project?
In the mental health initiative, we are developing a targeted Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)-Based Mental Health Curriculum for Lotus Petal Senior Secondary School in Gurgaon, India. This initiative is centered around the needs of 7th and 8th grade students and utilizes data-driven insights from needs-based assessments to craft a curriculum that addresses both immediate and future mental health needs. By involving students through surveys and continuous assessment, we aim to iteratively improve the curriculum's effectiveness in promoting student well-being.

What are our top three goals for this fall semester?
1. We hope to foster a culture of strong teamwork and mutual support within the consortium of SC Project RISHI Mental Health, Harmony Through Education, and Lotus Petal Foundation. We will encourage open communication, active listening, and the exchange of ideas to harness the diverse strengths and perspectives of each partner organization.
2. We will empower team members to take proactive initiatives in identifying potential challenges and opportunities. We will encourage the proactive sharing of insights, strategies, and innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement and effectively address emerging needs through curriculum development.
3. We will establish clear channels of communication that facilitate seamless information sharing among diverse teams and stakeholders. We will promote regular updates, transparent reporting, and structured feedback loops to ensure everyone remains informed, aligned, and engaged in the collaborative initiatives.
