Why I joined RISHI

I joined RISHI after attending or more so crashing one of their events the semester before and experiencing firsthand the fun, community-oriented atmosphere they have. I was impressed by how the organization not only celebrates South Asian culture but also addresses important issues often considered taboo, such as mental health in villages in North India. Motivated by RISHI’s commitment to social impact and cultural dialogue, I decided to become a part of this dynamic group to connect with like-minded individuals, share my own cultural experiences, and contribute to raising awareness on critical topics within our community through having worked in projects and CE.
